A Perth hotel quarantine security guard as well as two people he was living with — including a visitor from Canberra — have tested positive for COVID-19.
Mark McGowan announced WA would be spared from an immediate lockdown, but warned it was still a possibility.
The Premier has been in and out of crisis talks all day, as contact tracing teams scramble to reach any close contacts of the three positive cases.
The security guard in his 20s was working at the Pan Pacific Hotel quarantine on April 24, 25 and 26 and recorded daily negative saliva tests on each of those shifts.
